Currently a summer intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in New York City, Sam Klaber ’14 is studying accounting and financial management at Bucknell University. When it came to finding his own path at both the Academy and Bucknell, Sam said that learning from the success of others and creating his own individual plan has been most important in his growth as a student and future professional.

“I’ve made it a huge point to make myself comfortable with being uncomfortable, something that I think is very important both in my work life and personal life,” Melina George ’14 said, reflecting on her journey at Miami University and beyond.
A Sewickley Academy lifer Mackenzie Pryor ’14 is currently studying wildlife biology and anthropology at the University of Georgia. When it came to finding her calling, Mackenzie was inspired by experiences with teachers who showed their dedication to science, both at the Academy and UGA. “I have always been interested in science, and I am so grateful for the science teachers I had at SA. Each of them were so passionate about the classes they taught, and that gave me the desire to find an area of science that I was as passionate about as they were with their respective subjects.”
