Shiny & New

senior-school-cafeteriaThe maintenance and technology teams were busy this past summer – adding a number of improvements to the campus! Take a tour with us to see just a few!

Does it look cooler in the MS/SS Cafeteria? Well it should! Air conditioning was installed over the summer – ensuring a nice, cool atmosphere for student dining.

In between the Hansen Library and the MS, a new courtyard in memory of Colin Wise ’05 was installed. This memorial will be a gathering spot where students of all grades can come together to share friendship.

Snyder Gymnasium got a makeover when it was refinished this summer. The clean, new look sports our school name and the Panther mascot!

New flatscreens were installed in the MS and SS, which display important announcements for the day, school news, the letter day of the week, and other fun facts! (The flatscreen in the Lower School was installed in the summer of 2009.)

The language lab in the SS was reconfigured to hold not only a number of computer stations but also an open space at the front of the room for collaborative work.

A new airplane runway? No! It’s the new aisle lighting in Rea Auditorium! The lights ensure a safe entrance or exit in a dark auditorium during a performance. And, as an added bonus, the lighting very much creates a “Broadway” ambiance to the space!
